HOUSING
Register at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Conference Center at the special conference rate of $99/night (plus tax) for all rooms—use group code “S14” (no, this is not a typo!) when registering. Reserve online, or call 1-877-337-5793 and identify yourself as registering with the Socialism conference. Register soon. The hotel will hold rooms at the special conference rate until June 2, 2013. After that, the hotel will fill them on a space-available basis. The hotel’s cancellation policy requires 72 hours advance notice of any room cancellations.
CHILD CARE
On-site child care will be provided. To help us plan, please make sure to note the number of children and their ages when you register online. Those requesting childcare must let us know by May 31, 2013.
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
Participants may be able to arrange rides with a local ISO branch. Contact your local branch or email the Socialism 2013 staff at info@socialismconference.org.
GETTING TO SOCIALISM 2013
The Crowne Plaza Hotel & Conference Center is located near O’Hare Airport. If you are flying into O’Hare, you can take the 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle bus from the O’Hare Bus Shuttle Center to the hotel. If you are arriving at Chicago Midway Airport or driving to Socialism 2013, please use the hotel’s web site to produce customized driving directions.
PARKING
The hotel is offering a special daily rate for conference attendees. Please ask when you check in.
