Housing

Register at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Conference Center—Chicago O’Hare (map) at the special conference rate of $115/night (plus tax) for all rooms. Register online or by calling (888) 233-9527 between 9am and 8pm EST, Monday - Friday. Please identify yourself as registering with the Socialism conference. Register soon. The hotel will hold rooms at the special conference rate until June 9, 2011. After that, the hotel will fill them on a space-available basis.

PLEASE NOTE: This year, the conference will take place from Friday through Monday (instead of Thursday through Sunday as in previous years) to take advantage of the July 4 holiday falling on Monday. Please remember to account for this when making travel and accommodation plans.

The hotel's cancellation policy requires 72 hours advance notice of any room cancellations.

Child Care

On-site child care will be provided. To help us plan, please make sure to note the number of children and their ages when you register online. Those requesting childcare must let us know by June 15, 2011.

Travel Arrangements

Participants may be able to arrange rides with a local ISO branch. Contact your local branch or email the Socialism 2011 staff at info@socialismconference.org.

Getting to Socialism 2011

The Crowne Plaza Hotel & Conference Center—Chicago O’Hare is located near Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. It is easily accessible by public transportation from O’Hare. If you are driving to Socialism 2011, please use the hotel's Web site to produce customized driving directions.

Parking

The hotel is offering a special rate of $5/day for conference attendees.
